After completing a dual degree from Brown University in computer science and philosophy, and an MFA in poetry from the University of Washington, Christian combined his two interests by writing his first book
The Most Human Human. Drawing on science, philosophy, literature and the arts, it is an exploration of the ways in which computers are reshaping our ideas of what it means to be human. His writing has also appeared in
