Professor of architectural engineering, urban planning and landscape architecture, Birzeit University.
As well as his work at Birzeit University, Dr Anani lectures on spatial politics at the International Academy of Art Palestine. He is also engaged in critical projects such as "Decolonising Architecture" and "Ramallah Syndrome" at the 53rd Venice Biennale and has been curator on a number of other urban planning and architectural projects. Anani studied at Birzeit University, the University of Live Sciences in Norway and Universitaet Dortmund, Germany, where he obtained a PhD in spatial planning. 31.05.09
