Although an illustrator by trade; Gaku Nakagawa is also a Buddhist monk of the Jyodousyu sect who works from his atelier within a temple in Kyoto. Taschen published his works in Illustration Now! (2005). This month, Nakagawa rendered Monocle's perfect high street.
