Food writer, author and restaurant critic
Jill Dupleix is regular contributor to The Age Epicure, Sydney Morning Herald Good Living and cuisine.com.au and creative director of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival. Previous posts have seen her as co-editor of the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide from 1996 to 2001 with Terry Durack and the cookery editor of The Times (The Times Cook) in the UK for six years until the title was dissolved. She was awarded Best Cookery Journalist by the British Guild of Food Writers and is the author of 15 cookbooks, from ‘New Food’ in 1993 to ‘Lighten Up’, which won the Miriam Polunin Award for Best Work on Healthy Eating in 2008.
