Born into a family of Lebanese farmers, Mouzawak founded Souk el Tayeb, the first farmer's market in Beirut, in 2005 to mark the 30th anniversary of the civil war. It remains committed to representing and uniting local producers and communities through a blend of culture, politics and cuisine.
