Ken Maher

Architect and Chairman of HASSELL

Known as one of Australia’s most influential architects, Maher has a strong interest in multidisciplinary thinking in the design of our cities and is chairman of HASSELL, Australia's largest international multidisciplinary design practice and working on major urban projects throughout Australia and Asia. He is also very active in academia, holding the posts of Professor with UNSW Built Environment, Chair of the UNSW Built Environment Advisory Council, and a Board member of the UNSW Foundation. He has won many awards during his career including the Australian Institute of Architecture's highest accolade, the AIA Gold Medal (2009).
