Arab world correspondent, CBCA former parliamentary reporter for the Canadian Press, Nahlah Ayed has been a correspondent in the Middle East since 2002, spending time in Iraq and Afghanistan before joining CBC in 2004 based out of Beirut. She has been nominated for a Gemini television award for her work in Iraq, and has also won several awards for her print work.
