After beginning his career at The Australian in 1995 and going on to become a media and marketing writer, Brook left the newspaper in 2003 and started a post at The Guardian in the UK as deputy editor of MediaGuardian.co.uk and as press correspondent. He rejoined The Australian as Media Editor in March 2011. Brook has also lectured in journalism and written for The Times, The Observer, Radio Times magazine, Monocle and the Financial Times.
