Tom Rachman is a journalist and writer whose debut novel, The Imperfectionists, has been widely praised for its depiction of the state of the contemporary newspaper industry. Rachman is a former foreign correspondent for the Associated Press and has also worked as an editor at the International Herald Tribune. Based in Rome, he is a graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism in New York.
