After four years working as a journalist in Shanghai, Moss joined
Jane's Defence Weekly as Asia-Pacific editor at the start of 2008 where his main focus was the changing defence and security environment in the Asia-Pacific region and military operations in China, Pakistan and Afghanistan. He is now Monocle’s Asia defence correspondent.
