The Monocle Weekly

The Monocle Weekly

The final show in the current series of The Monocle Weekly comes to you from London (while The Monocle Weekly takes a holiday, get your weekly fix of global culture, comment and debate with The Monocle Summer Series). Sagra Maceira de Rosen joins us in the studio to mull over the mood from last week's Financial Times Business of Luxury conference in Monaco. Also joining us is acclaimed writer and broadcaster Matthew Sweet, who's here to talk about the grit and grime of London. Monocle's Washington correspondent, Sasha Issenberg, is on the line from Brazil where we've dispatched him to cover the recent Air France disaster and, staying with aviation, we have Flight International's editor Murdo Morrison on the line from the Paris Air Show, giving us the mood on the ground as low-flying jets soar overhead. All this and the usual culture and comment from Monocle's editor Andrew Tuck, culture editor Robert Bound and host Tyler Brûlé.

About the Monocle Weekly

The Monocle Weekly is a mix of smart discussion, previews, field reports and feature interviews. From our studio in London and our bureaux in Tokyo and New York, Monocle's editors focus on the horizon and explore the looming stories within the five areas that define our editorial agenda: global affairs, business, culture, design and consumer culture.

Hosted by editor in chief Tyler Brûlé, The Monocle Weekly also offers fresh angles on stories in the current issue and delivers in-depth follow-ups from past assignments. Culture editor Robert Bound is a regular with his weekly playlist of artists established and obscure.

Editor Andrew Tuck pulls in contributions from our correspondents in far flung corners and moderates debates. And from Tokyo and New York editors Fiona Wilson and Ann Marie Gardner deliver features and perspectives from Asia and the Americas.
