The final show in the current series of The Monocle Weekly comes to you from London (while The Monocle Weekly takes a holiday, get your weekly fix of global culture, comment and debate with The Monocle Summer Series).
Sagra Maceira de Rosen joins us in the studio to mull over the mood from last week's Financial Times Business of Luxury conference in Monaco. Also joining us is acclaimed writer and broadcaster Matthew Sweet, who's here to talk about the grit and grime of London. Monocle's Washington correspondent, Sasha Issenberg, is on the line from Brazil where we've dispatched him to cover the recent Air France disaster and, staying with aviation, we have Flight International's editor Murdo Morrison on the line from the Paris Air Show, giving us the mood on the ground as low-flying jets soar overhead. All this and the usual culture and comment from Monocle's editor Andrew Tuck, culture editor Robert Bound and host Tyler Brûlé.
