Tyler Brûlé anchors this week's edition from Tokyo while editor Andrew Tuck and culture editor Rob Bound hold the fort in London. Food writer Mark Robinson stops by to share his discoveries from Sydney's first international food festival and we get an update on Japan's automotive industry from Koji Endo, managing director of Advanced Research Japan. Following the announcement that the world's largest manga museum is being created at Meiji University, Tokyo, we also ask writer and lecturer Roland Kelts if manga is still relevant in contemporary Japan and what makes it so popular outside the country.
The music played in this week's show is Apple Pie Bed by Lawrence Arabia from the album Chant Darling (Mistletone), Everybody by Jay'ed (TOY'S FACTORY) and Sustained Affection by Immigrant's Bossa Band (DIW THE GARDEN RECORDS).
