The team kick off the first Monocle Weekly of 2010 with a topical discussion on the future of airport security measures with Olivier Jankovec, director general of the European airport trade body, ACI Europe. Then it's over to Nairobi to ask our correspondent there, Steve Bloomfield, if the recent attack on the Togo football team spells trouble for the World Cup to be held in South Africa later in the year. In the culture section, editor Andrew Tuck and culture editor Rob Bound share their thoughts on the media's treatment of the Haiti earthquake story with Tyler Brûlé, and Monocle's fashion editor, Takeharu Sato, joins them in the studio to share the highlights from this week's Pitti Uomo men's fashion expo in Florence.
The music played in this week's culture section is taken from the album Sweets House Best Xmas Songs by Naomile and we also play a track entitled Christmas Time by Jazzin' Park, from the compilation Francfranc presents Christmas Fantasy.
