In addition, the interns will be involved in the work of our radio station Monocle 24, so some radio experience, interest or education will be a distinct advantage.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in current affairs, business and design, and be able to carry out detailed research. English fluency is essential, and other language skills are also desirable.
Working schedules for interns will vary, including very early mornings, late evenings or weekends for radio work. Expenses will be covered.

We are looking for a new recruit to join Monocle's front-of-house team at our London HQ.
The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of Midori House, greeting everyone from prime ministers coming in to be interviewed on Monocle's radio station, Monocle 24, to clients coming to meet our commercial team. The successful candidate will understand the importance of hospitality, be able to make a great coffee and be able to work swiftly and calmly. You'll help us keep the company looking smart and the atmosphere friendly while also being able to get a package from Havana to Hong Kong on a national holiday. This is a demanding job where good diplomatic and organisational skills are a must. Foreign languages and an ambition to grow within the company are also highly desirable.

Monocle 24 is looking for experienced live radio presenters.
Those interested should have at least two years' experience of hosting live current affairs programmes. You must have an understanding of Monocle's news agenda and be able to sound authoritative on topics that range from politics to design and business to culture. Monocle 24 is looking for a highly motivated radio producer to work on daily radio shows.
A keen journalistic instinct for global and distinctive news stories is essential, as well as editing skills on Protools or Myriad. You will need to generate and execute multiple story ideas for a daily show covering news, arts, travel, design, world politics and more, and have the confidence to deal with guests and presenters with charm and discretion. An excellent set of contacts is needed.

Monocle 24 is looking for freelance audio journalists to work on Monocle's new audio service.
We are looking for audio journalists based in London and abroad, with a minimum of two years' experience in current affairs reportage. Candidates should own recording equipment which can record in broadcast quality .WAV format, and will be responsible for collection audio, and writing and voicing scripts.
We are looking for individuals with strong journalistic instincts and the discipline to tell stories well in audio.

We are looking for interns for our London HQ to help the commercial team and make sure the office runs smoothly. Duties will include participation in the administration of the retail division, customer and supplier-facing activities and stock management, as well as many ad-hoc activities depending on current commercial projects and participation in Monocle events.

We are looking for filmmaking talent based in London and abroad, with a minimum of two years' experience in current affairs reportage. Owning your own equipment is an advantage but most importantly we are looking for individuals with strong journalistic instincts, a photographic eye and the discipline to tell stories well on film.
