Preface

Last year 3.5 million tourists flocked to the largest of the Canary Islands. But few of them made it to the dynamic capital Santa Cruz, preferring instead the south's package holiday hotels and neon bars. More fools them. Santa Cruz is a city where the locals know how to effortlessly dress for work and play.
