About the Monocle Summer Series

Kicking off the Monocle Summer Series is Diane Birch with her unique blend of soul, rock, gospel and folk. Born in Michigan and raised in Zimbabwe and Sydney, she was spotted by music legend Prince while gigging in Los Angeles in 2006 and soon moved to London where she signed a publishing deal. Her debut album, Bible Belt, was released in 2009 to critical acclaim.
