Geert Wilders and allies reach a coalition deal
Yet another EU country is on course to be governed by a far-right party. Geert Wilders and three other Dutch party leaders have announced that they have brokered a provisional coalition deal, six months since Wilders’ Party for Freedom won 37 seats in the 150-seat lower house. But it remains uncertain who will become prime minister, with Wilders having ruled himself out to secure a deal.
