Poland launches Pegasus spyware probe

Cover art for The Briefing

When Poland voted last year for the party of prime minister Donald Tusk, many did so with the understanding that the outgoing Law and Justice Party was, to varying degrees, seeking to undermine the rule of law and democracy in their country. Those targeted will be notified as the investigation unfolds and charges against former political officials could be on the cards.
